James Glover didn't set out to build just another gym apparel brand—he set out to change the game entirely. As the founder of OiJim, James is on a mission to empower small content creators and give them a platform to express their creativity through bold, unapologetic gym wear. As for the future of Oijim, James is in the process of developing apps and products to revolutionise the way we interact in the gym community through our clothing and the way we consume our supplements today, as we know it.

From Gym Floor to Brand Builder

James knows the gym community inside out—the banter, the grind, the culture that makes lifting more than just a workout. He observed gyms losing their sense of community and decided to take action. OiJim isn't just about selling hoodies and shakers; it's about creating a movement where wearing the bolt means you're part of something bigger.

With a background in supporting creators and a passion for authentic gym culture, James built OiJim to be different. Every product, every slogan, every collaboration is designed with one goal: to celebrate the lifters, the grinders, and the creators who make gym culture what it is.

Why James Started OiJim

The Problem: Big brands dominate the fitness apparel space, leaving small creators with no platform to showcase their designs or build their own brands.

The Solution: OiJim's creator programs. James personally reviews every submission, works with creators to bring their designs to life, and gives them a commission on every sale. It's not about chasing trends—it's about authenticity, community, and giving creators a real voice and letting them be the leaders of their own communities.

Won't this become too oversaturated?

Short answer, NO! James only works with 3-5 creators monthly to allow them to start their own brand and see if it takes off with oijim. If a creator wants to create their own brand, but the creator limit has been reached, the creator gets put on a waiting list until their time comes to publish their designs. If it sticks, the creator goes in our Oijim Hall of Fame, where their products will always be available. If not, the creators' campaign is terminated, and they can always join the waiting list again after a 6-month waiting period.

James isn't stopping at apparel. With plans to launch OiJim Sups (clean, performance-focused supplements), expand the creator affiliate program, and build partnerships with gyms across the UK, the vision is clear: make OiJim the go-to brand for lifters who want more than just another gym tee.
